Florian von Gierke
Florian von Gierke holds a B.A. and M.A. from the American University’s School of International Service in Washington, DC. His studies focused on the transatlantic relationship, international security, the European Union (politics and economics), and regional power politics.
During his time in Washington, DC Florian worked for the DC office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, the Executive Office of the Atlantic Council of the United States (ACUS), as well as in the German Information Center (GIC) of the German Embassy in the USA. Additionally Florian worked in the USA/Transatlantic Relations Program of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) and the Secretariat of Bundestag’s Foreign Affairs Committee.
Florian speaks fluent English and German, as well as French.
